The Embraer 190 is a modern, high-performance jet aircraft desi We operate a fleet of 12 Embraer 190s on Finnair flights across Finland and nearby regions. Our aircraft offer passengers a fast, pleasant, and efficient travel experience — seamlessly integrated into Finnair’s extensive route network.

Our Brazilian-built aircraft feature 100 passenger seats. The spacious, quiet, and modern cabin offers outstanding comfort for European flights — with no middle seats, every seat is either by the window or the aisle. Large windows enhance the sense of space onboard.

We are currently refurbishing the cabins of our Embraer 190 fleet to offer even greater comfort. The first upgraded aircraft are already in operation, and our goal is to complete the entire fleet renovation by spring 2026.

One of the key objectives of the cabin renewal has been to reduce the aircraft’s weight — which results in lower fuel consumption and reduced carbon dioxide emissions. Weight has been an important factor in our choice of materials.

Our aircraft are equipped with powerful and quiet CF34-10E engines manufactured by General Electric, delivering strong performance and lower emissions compared to previous-generation aircraft.

This supports both our and Finnair’s commitment to more responsible and sustainable air travel. When operations are efficient and carefully planned, both the environment and passengers benefit.
